In my talk I will describe my journey starting from my experience as an educator and how that led me to want to find something else. I will discuss the deciding factors, remote work, better pay, growth opportunity, etc. I will share how I found out about Ideate Labs/ UX Woman and what ultimately led me to choose your program. I will then briefly share my experience of applying, resume edits, portfolio work, and how after 6 months of hard work I was able to land my first UX Researcher job.
